F2P Shooter Warface Now Allows Switch Players To Toggle Crossplay ‘On’ And ‘Off’
Information about F2P Shooter Warface Now Allows Switch Players To Toggle Crossplay ‘On’ And ‘Off’
The free-to-play shooter Warface has turned off the crossplay feature in the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
Some fans apparently weren’t happy about crossplay being enabled by default, so the developer has now turned it off and added an option to turn it on or off. In a message on the game’s official website, the team said they wanted to allow players to make the choice themselves. Here’s how you can reactive it if you do want to go up against players on other platforms:
We’ve been analyzing your feedback for months and decided that it would be better to let players decide whether they want to play in crossplay on their own. That is why a new function was added: players now can turn on/off crossplay for PvP and PvE as they wish.
Please note: At the moment PvP mode in crossplay is turned off by default for all Nintendo Switch players. If you want to play with fighters from other platforms, you can turn the function on in your system settings.
Warface was released on the Nintendo Switch back in February last year. At the time, we said it was a decent enough FPS experience on the system – awarding it seven out of ten stars. Read our review to learn more about this game.
